The Northeast Asian Studies College and the Busan Economic Promotion Institute Northern Economic City Council successfully held the "Northeast Asia Regional Economic Cooperation"Seminar

On June 27th, 2018, a delegation of 6 people from the Northern Economic City Council of the Busan Economic Promotion Institute visited Jilin University and jointly held a seminar on "Northeast Asia Regional Economic Cooperation" with Northeast Asian Studies College. Nearly 20 scholars, government and business people from Korea Northern Economic Cities Council, Dongseo University, Busan Jinhae Free Economic Zone, Busan Port Corporation, Busan Maritime Port Logistics Creative Manpower Committee, Northeast Asian Studies College, Northeast Asian Research Center, Jilin Province Northeast Asia Sea Silk Road International Shipping Group attended the seminar.

 

The seminar conducted extensive and in-depth exchanges and discussions on Northeast Asian logistics and tourism cooperation, economic cooperation plans between China, South Korea and North Korea, and Northeast Asian urban economic development. The seminar achieved fruitful results. After the meeting, the North Economic City Council of the Busan Economic Promotion Institute and the Northeast Asian Studies College signed a memorandum of friendship and cooperation. The two parties expressed that they would take this seminar as an opportunity to promote further exchanges and cooperation between the two parties and establish a new relationship between universities, governments and enterprises.
