The Northeast Asian Studies College and Asiatic Research Institute of Korea University successfully held academic conferences

    On November 9th, 2018, the “Changes in the Situation on the Korean Peninsula and China-South Korea Relations in the New Era” was co-sponsored by the Northeast Asian Studies College of Jilin University and the Institute of Asian Studies of Korea University, and co-organized by the Northeast Asian Research Center of Jilin University, the Korean Peninsular Studies Institute and the Jilin Province International Friendly Contact Association.The international symposium was successfully held at Jilin University.

    Nearly 30 experts and scholars from Korea University, Korea National Defense University, Kyungnam University, Jilin University, Shandong University, China Association for International Friendly Contact, and Jilin International Friendly Contact Association attended the meeting and discussed the situation on the Korean Peninsula and regional cooperation in Northeast Asian. Some other issues were also discussed in depth.

    This meeting was the fifth consecutive academic seminar held since the Northeast Asian Studies College and Asiatic Research Institutesigned an exchange agreement. During the meeting, the two parties spoke highly of the fruitful cooperation between the two institutions and expressed that they would continue to promote deepening of the cooperative relationship.
